b Hotel Bali & Spa Cooks Up a Future for Widya Guna Children

b Hotel Bali & Spa, a modern hotel located in Kuta, Bali, Indonesia, held a cooking class for children at the Widya Guna Foundation on December 1, 2023. The class was part of the hotel’s year-end social responsibility activities.

The class was attended by a team of b Hotel employees, including several department heads. The team taught the children how to cook two dishes: chocolate banana spring rolls and pudding.

The children were eager to learn, and they quickly picked up the skills needed to cook the dishes. They were particularly excited to learn how to make chocolate banana spring rolls, as they are a big fan of chocolate.

The class was a success, and it was a rewarding experience for both the children and the b Hotel team. The children learned valuable skills that they can use in the future, and the b Hotel team was able to give back to the community and make a difference in the lives of the children.

The Widya Guna Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides education, housing, and other support to Balinese children in need. The foundation was founded in 2006 by Ketut Sadia and Gill Rijnenberg with a vision to extend our support to orphans, disabled youth, and other children in need of a helping hand, providing them with the opportunity to access quality education and fostering independence and responsibility for their future. Beyond education, we offer housing, regular meals, and a safety net for those who require it.

The b Hotel Bali & Spa cooking class was a valuable opportunity for the Widya Guna children to learn new skills and gain confidence in their ability to cook. The class also helped to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment. The b Hotel team is proud to have partnered with the Widya Guna Foundation to make a difference in the lives of these children.
